Balloon Boy a Hoax!
You can rest at ease. The boy carrying balloon story that captured the attention of people across the country turned out to be a hoax. Take a look at these news clips and how each reports the story differently. Which do you prefer? Let us know!

I found the NBC clip rather funny with the personified balloon. To be honest, while the CNN clip was the real news, it was a bit long to keep my attention. I wasn't particularly interested in listening to all of the commentary by the man from NY about the emails and correspondences from Mr. Heene and the student from CSU. Also, CNN's clip was quite a bit longer than either NBC or The Daily Show.
And I wanted to add that I completely agree with the NBC clip about questioning if this was actually news. I was wondering myself if the story should have been broadcast nationally. Still an interesting piece besides.
